Mary finally found solace in her aunt’s home. Unfortunately, the stay was short lived when her Auntie died of HIV. Her demise forced Mary to go to an orphanage that raised her and put her through school until Advanced level.

With such a challenging childhood, Mary eventually found purpose and took up the call to help vulnerable children in her community to have a second chance at life. Through her charitable work, she met Charles on Kampala streets with a mutual goal of helping street kids, and together they started the foundation.

Through Marles Children’s Foundation, they are able to meet essential basic needs of a number of children in their community.
